Two months ago, Doole Health adapted its Telemedicine Platform to assist in the management of care derived from the crisis caused by Covid-19, both in Primary Health Care and in Home Hospitalization, and created coVIDApp+.
Doole Health is a spin-off of the FLS Foundation against AIDS and infectious diseases, led by Dr. Bonaventura Clotet, known internationally for his work in the field of HIV and Covid-19 among others, and responsible for the Infectious Disease Service of the Germans Trias Hospital. The FLS Foundation leads several studies and projects related to Covid-19 with international impact and is involved in one of the avenues of research into the Covid-19 vaccine.
Now we are in another moment, it is in the gradual return to a certain normality, and in Doole Health we are determined that now it is time to help companies and entities to recover their activity with the maximum speed and with the maximum safetyfor their workers and clients.
That is why we offer companies a project through which, based on Telemedicine, we provide the latest advances in knowledge applied to the management of Covid-19, through direct scientific advice and constant monitoring of workers for early detection of infection.
Covidapp is a Telemedicine Platform that allows:
- Incorporate the latest updates in the management of Covidien-19
- Manage large volumes of users and information in an orderly manner.
- Secure and confidential communication channel with users
- Obtain systematic, real-time information from users
- Monitoring symptoms to rule out new infections
- Empowering users to manage their health
- Facilitate a channel of proven information
- Promoting preventive vs. reactive medicine
MORE THAN 30 YEARS OF RESEARCH AND INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION
FLS is a non-profit organization dedicated to:
- Providing medical care to people suffering from infectious diseases.
- Conducting independent and competitive clinical research.
- Facilitating the transfer of knowledge between health professionals, researchers and the general public
FLS jointly with the infectious diseases service of the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol, a public hospital administered by the Institut Català de la Salut (Catalan Health Institute) and the IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute, under the leadership of Dr. Bonaventura Clotet, constitute one of the most prominent international research groups in the fields of infectious diseases.
Over50 professionals, including doctors and scientists work on most acute infectious diseases, global health, STIs, hepatitis, immune system and cancer, human papillomavirus, metagenomics and ageing.
The Research is organized into separate lines to allow for greater specialization and more efficient use of resources.
The researchers in each of the lines are also active physicians and therefore have regular contact with people living with the diseases. As a result, the research conducted is adapted to the real needs of people living with the infections.
Our researchers and physicians are part of the most recognized working groups in the field, such as the World Health Organization, the International Antiviral Society or the European AIDS Clinical Society.
We are a spin-off of the FLS Foundation for Fighting AIDS, Infectious Diseases and Promoting Health and Science.
Doole was born in 2015 out of a clinical and medical need identified in the FLS Foundation for Fighting AIDS, Infectious Diseases and Promoting Health and Science (Barcelona), which wanted to offer a more complete, adaptable and higher quality healthcare experience to its more than 3,000 patients. The FLS Foundation’s clinical experience and close relationship with its chronically ill patients were key to associating needs and translating them into the development, validation and implementation of a fully functional, highly adaptable and easy-to-use software for managing any medical condition.
